At present, the average aluminum consumption of Chinese automobiles is about 110Kg/car, which is obviously lower than the current level of about 150Kg/car in Europe and America. There is huge room for improvement. In 2016, domestic aluminum used for automobiles will be about 3 million tons. It is expected to reach 6.5 million tons in 2020, with an average annual growth rate of over 20%. Considering the market space and the domestic competition pattern, casting products have great investment value, and forging products have a large room for expansion.
