Recently, the aluminum alloy automatic forging production line project of Japan Saitama Stamping & Forging Co., Ltd. (Danyang) Co., Ltd., which was built by Beijing Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, passed the acceptance test.

  Saitama Stamping & Forging Co., Ltd. is a professional manufacturer of automotive aluminum alloy forgings integrating R&D, forging, heat treatment and finishing. Major customers include BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, GM, Volvo, Nissan, Suzuki and other world-renowned OEMs. Since its establishment, the company has won many awards such as the Japan Aluminum Association Technology Development Award and Toyota Motor Corporation's lightweight technology development. Its aluminum alloy precision hot forging technology has a lot of popularity.

  The project is the first aluminum alloy forging production line of the Beijing Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering to undertake the wholly foreign-owned enterprises. The production line is mainly used to produce the aluminum alloy control arm parts of the suspension system of the new models of Mercedes and Volvo. The project includes a jet-type aluminum alloy heating furnace developed by Mechatronics, a cross wedge rolling mill specially designed for aluminum alloy forging, a specially designed three-way bending equipment, and other related production line auxiliary devices such as spray lubrication devices. The core production line Automation system integration is also done by electromechanical. The project team relied on the electromechanical institute for many years on aluminum alloy forging technology.

  More importantly, while greatly reducing the labor intensity of the personnel, the consistency and traceability of the production products are fully guaranteed. The automatic production cycle and product qualification rate of the whole line meet the design standards of the production line and are fully recognized by the users. .

The acceptance of this project marks that the fully automatic production line of aluminum alloy forgings of electromechanical equipment is fully equipped with complete line of equipment. The ability to integrate into the automation system has a leading domestic and international advanced position in the field of aluminum alloy forging technology.
